Error message received after completing a batch task

I repeatedly get this message after completing a batch task: Cannot access a disposed object. Object name: "Button".

This usually ends up in the background and freezes Studio until I find the dialog box and select OK.

I'm wondering if anyone has seen this error.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Studio multiple times to no avail. I am running 2015 Studio.

  • Hi Sónia,

If you have a support contract then please do, in the meantime can you try doing a Studio reset. You may have to do a Studio reset and it might help. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\12.0.0.0

If you don't have a support contract and if this still doesn't help and you are getting this consistently then please log a case for an installation issue that prevents you from working. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

    http://support.xl8.one

Just fill in the form, making sure you also refer to this thread, and submit it. Make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

    Regards

    Paul
