I've tried everything I can think of. It's there in the Control Panel, but nowhere in sight in Studio. Any suggestions? (I could add that this is not the only plug-in which refuses to install. Could it be something with the plugin installer?)

The SDLXLIFF toolkit is not a plugin, but a standalone program, which means that you are not going to see it in Studio (except in the list of OX apps in the Welcome view).
