How to specify the one tab for translation in an Excel file?

Question

Dear Studio 2015 R2 users, 
 I received a multiple-tab Excel file from a client, for which only one tab requires translation. 
 I used the bilingual Excel file type to import the file, but I couldn't find a setting that would allow me to specify the tab that needs translation. Does such a feature exist in the latest version of Studio?

 Unless you want to import bilingual content, I would not use the Bilingual Excel filetype, but the normal one (Microsoft Excel 2007-2013". 
 You can hide the content you don't need to translate in the Excel file (in this case sheets) using the "Hide" command in Excel before opening the file in Studio. Hidden content will not be shown in the Editor (unless you change the setting "Hidden content" in the filetype). 
 Simply unhide the sheet afterwards in te target Excel file.

Thank you for your suggestions. I tried your method and it worked. However, I have a definition column in that Excel file that I would like to import to Studio for quick reference. After checking with the client to make sure it's fine to deliver only the translatable sheet, I deleted the unnecessary sheets and imported the Excel file using the bilingual Excel file type. I prefer this method, as the generated target translation is ready for delivery withou additional work. I always have difficulty unhiding columns in Excel files:)

This answer is more of a heads-up to anyone searching an answer to your question, since you already solved your issue. We have already implemented the same behavior with hidden sheets in the Bilingual Excel file type (i.e. ignoring information from hidden sheets), and it will most probably be found in the next CU patch. So if the user wants to select only a few sheets to translate using this file type, then he/she should just hide the tabs which they do not want to translate from Excel.
