Progress less than 100%

I'm translating a project with 11 small files (approx 390 words/file). I confirm the segments by using "Confirm and move to next segment" and all segments are ticked. When I go to the files view they are all on 98% however, i.e. the files look like they are not completed. The files are all part of a package sent to me by the client.

How do I get them to say 100%?

  • I started to see this too since my update to 12.2.5195.7 yesterday and I find it (very) annoying. I use this statistic to make sure that I have completed the task and committed all segments to the TM. Now I have to go to the filter and select "unconfirmed segments" to make sure that I didn't skip anything, and since I want to make sure I didn''t, I am doing that once more plus some additional checking left and right. Nothing is more satisfying than reaching that 100% mark! Why is it happening? Could you please take the report and see if it can be fixed? (ps: I am on Windows 10 and I closed and re-opened Studio without any effect).

  • Hi Lianne,

Until you wrote this post I have never considered the satisfaction angle before, but I get it.  Perhaps running the "Work in Progress" report would be interesting for you?  I know it's not an instant feedback as you still have to do something, but the WIP report was introduced in Studio 2015 as a means to show you exactly what kind of progress you are making in the project and might give you that feelgood factor while we wait for the development team to sort this problem out.  It would also save you having to open the files and filter on unconfirmed as well as having some additional benefits in that it can ignore locked segments so you don't need to do anything with them at all.

It looks like this as a summary:

But you can also see a lot more detail if you're interested:

To run this just run the WIP Batch Task on your Projects.

    Regards
