Studio 2014 - loop when adding a term to my termbase

From Studio 2014 I receive the message when I try to enter a term in my Termbase. Studio then goes into a loop when I try to close the message (irrespective whether OK or close). I then need to abort Studio using Windows Task Manager. What does this error message mean (webpage?) How can I report this bug (the loop)?

  • Hello Anthony,

You probably tried to copy/paste your image in and this won't work. You need to use the rich formatting option and then select an image from your computer to add it to the post.

On the message itself, it looks as though it thinks you are duplicating synonyms which I imagine you are not. So can you tell me more about your set up? How many termbases? What version of Studio 2014 (should be 2014 SP2 - 11.2.4422.11)? What version of MultiTerm 2014 are you using (should be 2014 SP2 - 11.2.1379.0)?

Have you checked in MultiTerm itself to see whether you can make this change in there? Have you tried reorgansing the termbase?

    Regards

    Paul
