No document recovery options after SDL trados 2015 crash

I was working on a translation and did not save it, but autosave was on, scheduled to save every 10 minutes.

My computer shut down because of a windows update, while I was on my lunch break and when I opened trados once I restarted the machine there was no message prompting me to recover the translated document.

I opened the file I was translating hoping that it would contain the translation but nothing had been saved. I had been working on it for a couple of hours.

I then checked online for information regarding autosave, and it seems that I should have received a notification.

Within the project folder I do not see any autosaved versions of the file I was working on.

I have now changed autosave to once a minute but I am wondering if there might be a bug with Trados. The only thing I can think is that the project was not saved in the default trados location, could the autosave file be located somewhere else other than the project folder?

Many thanks for your help!

Lucio

p.s. I managed not to loose the translation thanks to the translation memories populating the translation fields, are translation memories autosaved? This all seems to be a bit of a grey area!
