Is it possible to hide meta data (on users) using the project settings in SDL Trados Studio 2014/2015?

I have recently received a SDL Trados studio package, but the SDLXLIFF file does not contain any information on any users (created_by, last_modified_by etc.). Even the SDLPROJ file does not contain any meta data on users (such as translators, proofreaders or project managers) who have worked on this project. Is it possible to hide meta data using the project settings in SDL Trados Studio 2014/2015?

  • Hi Walter, thanks for the quick response. I received a similar project package a couple of weeks ago, in which the segment in the SDLXLIFF file looked something like this:

    <trans-unit [...]>

    <source>Berlin</source>

    <seg-source>

    <mrk [...]>Berlin</mrk>

    </seg-source>

    <target><mrk mrk [...]>Berlino</mrk>

    </target>

    <sdl:seg-defs><sdl:seg id="8" conf="Translated" origin="tm" origin-system="de-DE_it-IT" percent="100">

    <sdl:value key="created_by">[user name]</sdl:value>

    <sdl:value key="created_on">DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm:ss</sdl:value>

    <sdl:value key="modified_on">DD/MM/YYYY hh:mm:ss</sdl:value>

    <sdl:value key="last_modified_by">[user name2]</sdl:value>

    [...]

    </trans-unit>

    These information are all missing in the SDLXLIFF file I have recently received.
