SDL Studio 2015 - Adjustment of settings for the editor, where?

Hi, I am new here, and I do not find a possibility to adjust the Editor. I had adjusted it several months ago after a Studio seminar with the help of an instructor, but after a recent update all the settings are away, and I do not find at all where I can adjust the Editor.

I have the following problems, after a sentence containing e. g.:

FIG. 1 is showing that...

Studio makes 2 segments of this:

FIG.

1 is showing that

This I don't want, because this occurs in many sentences in patents and makes the TM largely useless.

2) I remember that there was also a possibility to adjust the quotation marks so that automatically German quotation marks are set in the target. Does anyone know where and how to adjust this?

Search in the help did not give any results.

    Unfortunately I do not see your pictures. To embed pictures here use the option "Use rich formatting" below the posting box. This will show you an editor similar to what you know from MS WOrd, where you can upload images.
    Part 1: this regards segmentation I think, and if this is an abbreviation, you must enter this into the TM settings, which you find by right clicking the TM in TM View (or when creating a project via a corresponding button). Go to "Language resources" and then edit the abbreviation list there. You need to enter the abbreviation EXACTLY as it is written in your source. For example the German abbreviation for VAT is MwSt. and this is how you need to enter it - inclusive the dot.
    Part 2: Go to File -> Options -> Editor -> Auto correction and change the settings there. These settings are language specific. So you need to change for Germa AND for English or any other language separately.

    Thanks for your quick reply. I cannot insert images because I am translating patents, and any text appearing no matter where in public is forbidden. The reply for part 2 I could use, and now the problem is resolved, but I do not achieve go do this with part 1.

    How do I come to TM view where I can insert these abbreviations that after them there will not be segmentation in future?

    You must restart the project from scratch in order to change segmentation.

    There are numerous places where you can change the settings for the TM. In case you use translate single file, it will be a button on the screen where you add TMs, in case of the project the button on the project TM screen (shown below). In both cases the way from clicking the settings button is the same:
