Advanced Number-checking QA Function Question

Can the Trados Number-checking QA Function deal with language-specific differences for JA-EN?

With Japanese and English financial documents, there are some linguistic differences that make straightforward number-checking provide almost only false positives. For example, the character 億 means 100,000 in Japanese (and probably Chinese). Thus, 10億 is translated as 1bn in English. 11億 is translated as 1.1bn. Also, fiscal years are written differently in Japanese. FY3/16 is written as 16/3期 in Japanese.

My understanding is that these will create false positives in an automated QA check. I was wondering if it is possible to customize Trados to deal with this.
