google translate + BeGlobal API

Question

hi, 
 i have two problems: 
 I recently upgrated my studio 15 using the suggested SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR-2 and SDL MultiTerm 2015 SR-2 Desktop Installer. 
 ever since, i cannot use the google translate autosuggest, saying that my language pair (english-hebrew) is not supported (i have a paid API)...i don't know if the two are related, but in the past i had no problem with it. i contacted google support, and after much investigation, i was told that the problem doesn't originate from them, but rather the trados software. 
 the second- being very frustrated that i cannot use the google MT, i tried to add the beglobal one, however it also askes for an API - which i'm unable to find anywhere...i have an id no. and an account no.- but i wasn't able to go any further... 
 can someone help me please?

My guess is that this is related to something other than auto-suggest. If you have a few minutes we could take a quick look at your set up over skype and see where the problem lies? 
 
On BeGlobal... this would be a paid solution for companies who are working with their own machine translation engines and not the one you want. You should have tried Language Cloud and this does not require an API key.Regards

It's a much better idea to just start a new thread for your particular problem as your post can easily get lost if you add it onto threads that have already been answered. 
 
You posted this onto the end of another thread too, so here's my suggestion there. Maybe try using this app and see if you have the same problem. If you do then the problem most likely comes from what you think you are using as your api key, or your Google account.

Is this a file in a project that you created yourself? Or are you trying to add Google translate to an existing project? Please can you also provide details of the version of studio that you are using.

Hi Orly , it seems there is a problem with Studio working with Hebrew via Google. I tested this using the MT Enhanced plugin and this has the same problem if I use Google, but works just fine if I use Microsoft Translator. I'll ask one of the appstore developers to take a look at this as it seems we are sending something Studio does up to Google that isn't compatible. In the meantime perhaps you can try Microsoft Translator? This is also NMT.
