Recurrent validation error notifications!

Dear all,

We get recurrent "validation error notifications" each time we want to process files in Trados.
We have especially problems when:

•    We want to carry out a pre-translation with out TMs. Trados recognize that there are many matches but does not insert the matches in the target segments for most of them (even though it should)!!! The editor view shows that the target segments are empty. Only when the translator clicks into each single target segment, the pre-translation is being done. The batch-Task “pre-translation” cannot be completed with error notification
•    We want to export bilingual files for proofreading and reimport them.
•    We want to update the Master-TM.
•    The problems occur when we use both DOCX files as source files or SDLXLIFF files.

Last but not least: the programm is systematically freezing at every single step before I can move from one file to another or click any button in SDL Trados before unfreezing and processing further. I have a new computer and enough RAM. What's the solution to this?

I precise: We have already installed the newest update (SP2).

We have already checked if the newest word file type filter had been used, this is was the case. We have made a bunch of test with our IT specialist yesterday but we could not find the origin of the problem.

We need help!

Many thanks in advance for any contribution!
Best regards,
François

I guess this is a typo. How can you do a pretranslate without a TM?
Did you use the default settings for the pretranslate batch task?

You can do this with the batch task "Export for external review"

I guess you meant "without error notifications".
What error notifcations do you get?
