Hi! One of my customers is switching to another system and file format. We now have bulletpoints while did not have them in the old files, so we don't have them in the TM. Is there any possibility or workaround to add the bulletpoints to the translation coming from the TM?

TM is de(DE) -> en(GB) and the two rules I added are in it. I copy pasted the bullet to create the rule.

I used \s for the space. Check the rules. All you really have to do now is filter on the bullets, copy source to target, change status to translated (for your stats) and then lock them. Now filter on unlocked and you don't have to worry about them at all.

Aha, I see. Just didn't know what the s stands for. I checked the word file once again. It doesnt even to be a space in the original file, please have a look to the screenshot. It's done with te rulers.
I tried to attach a word file earlier, but I didn't know how. Is it possible to attach a file?

So it's probably a tab... change the \s for a \t
It's just regex. You can add a file the same way you just added that image.

I use a segmentation rule just like Paul has suggested for files that I can segment myself. When that's not possible because the client has provided a pre-segmented file and they want exactly that file to be used, I do one of two things: either 1) manually split the segment after the bullet, which works fine and can be done quickly with a shortcut (I use Alt+T for Split Segments) if it's just a few segments, or 2) quickly add the bullet via an AutoCorrect entry that I've called "blt" and inserts a • character.

You would just go to Options - Editor - AutoCorrect, select the target language and add the appropriate name or abbreviation you'd like to use under Replace and the bullet symbol in With, like this:
