Progress information at the screen bottom is incorrect...why?

Question

Dear Studio 2015 experts, 
 I am working on a 13,000-word file the client prepared in Studio 2011, and the file is composed of XML files merged together. 
 I have noticed that the progress information at the bottom of the screen is not correct (See screenshot below). Is this because the project was prepared using an earlier version of Studio, or is it because of the original files' XML format? Whatever it is, is there a way to fix the issue?

It's a well reported problem that seems to be related to a refresh problem. Normally running a wordcount (or most other batch tasks) resolves it. It seems to be quite tricky to reproduce consistently, and if you sent me your files I'm sure I would not see the same problem... tried this lots of times unsuccessfully. So the best solution for now is run the refresh and hopefully this will resolve it. Once the development team are able to figure out what's causing this I'm sure it'll get fixed.
