Internet goes off and Studio 2014 shows the "First time use" wizard

Hi everybody, 
 My problem is this: Sometimes my Wi-Fi connection on my desktop pc goes off, when I restart the system and try to open SDL Trados Studio 2014 the software shows me the "First time use" wizard. Yesterday the project on which I was working wasn't anymore in the list (but as I save often this wasn't a problem), but anyway I think this is a bit strange. As per MultiTerm, everything works fine without any problem. 
 My work environment: - Desktop PC with Windows 7 (64 bit) - Wi-Fi broadband connection - SDL Trados Studio 2014 Freelance version (active license) - SP2 - 11.2.4435.12

Have you by any chance installed Studio on a network drive or one that is mirrored with a network drive? I had the problem that the Projects.xml file sometimes corrupted due to problems with syncing with the network drive, particularly since I had a very low space limit on the synced folder. I used to lose Projects in the list, "customer" lists this way.

If Studio starts with the first-time-use wizard, this means that it cannot find the user settings files in the APPDATA folder of your user profile. 
Check where your user profile is stored. If it is not local (e.g. a roaming profile on a server), then you need to be connected before launching Studio. 
The solution is either to make sure your file is always available locally or to make sure you are connected before launching Studio.
