Segmentation - Abbreviation of street names in German

Question

I frequently have addresses that are spat out from a database that are entered into texts for translations where the street name is abbreviated (either with str. or g.as the addresses are in Austria). What should I do in the Segmentation rules in German to ensure that I don't get segments split after the street Name, in names like K&auml;rntnerstr. (K&auml;rntnerstrasse) or B&ouml;rseg. (B&ouml;rsegasse)?

An exception to the full stop rule should do it. Have a look at this thread: community.sdl.com/.../27819 
 
Alternatively, if there's a limited number of these abbreviations, you could enter them into the abbreviations list in Language Resources under your TM settings.

Yes, that makes sense. You could add 
 
\b[A-Z]\w+str\. and \b[A-Z]\w+g\. 
 
as exceptions to the full stop rule.
