Cursor disappears when using ctrl + enter

Question

Hi. I have a simple but very irritating problem with Studio 2014. When I click Ctrl + Enter to confirm a TU the cursor immediately moves to the next segment, as it should. However, Studio then performs a concordance search and the cursor disappears from my screen. I then have to use the mouse to place the cursor back in the next segment (ridiculously time consuming and not good for my mouse hand). I've checked the keyboard shortcuts and know they are OK (the cursor also disappears when I click on the various Confirm options on the Home ribbon). Any suggestions?

You have probably set the option to do an automatic concordance search on no match. This means that every time studio does not find a match in the TM, it opens the concordance window. 
 
You can change this by disabling this function. Go to "File - Options - Editor - Concordance Search window" and uncheck the option "Perform search if TM lookup returns no result". This is the default value.
