How to handle quarkxpress files

Does anybody has experience in working with quarkxpress files in studio 2015? Are their any known issues? Or do you have any tips how to prepare them the best way for translation?
Thank you Jutta

  • You have to use Copy Flow Gold appstore.sdl.com/.../
This is a Quark extension, which allows you to export stories from QXP to a translatable file and import them back.
A good means in preparation of a file would be removing all unnecessary paragraph marks, paying attention also to superfluous tabs and similar issues - just like with any other file. Then also check, if the local formatting does fit the styles.
I did not use Quark since more than 4 or 5 years, as the demand dropped to zero for Polish, but my last experience with CFG and QXP 8.32 was quite OK.
