I guess you can do as follows:

1. Align Source_v.1 against Target_v.1. This step is to get a TM with the translations living in Target_v.1. Skip this step if you get this TM.
2. Pretranslate Source_v.2 using the TM created in step 1. (Probably I'd accept all changes first in Source_v.2).
3. Translate edits and additions.
4. Create target file when done.

I'm afraid you can't do it…

Is it to show your client where your new translations are?

If so, you can always filter segments by “With track changes” and apply manually some yellow highlighting to your translation, for example.  You'd need to let Studio show the edits/additions/deletions in the Editor. To do so, in File Types > Microsoft Word 20XX-20XX > Common select Display pending changes in the list Track changes extraction mode.

It's not exactly what you ask for, but may serve teh same purpose.
