How much RAM and hard disk memory is necessary?

Hi, I need to buy a new computer and I'm wondering about the specs. I'm doubting because of the RAM and SSD memories. The specs are as follows: dual-boot system Windows 8.1/Linux, Intel Core i7 processor,  Intel video card. This will be my work computer, so it's mainly for Trados Studio and Office use.

Now, for the memories, I can choose between a model with 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD + 500 GB hard disk ... or ... 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD + 1000 GB hard disk. As you can imagine, the second one is more expensive (about 200 euro more I think). Since the first option is already a bit above the budget I had in mind, I'd like to know if it's sufficient or if I should make the investment in the more expensive one. The system requirements on this website claim that 4 GB is enough, but wat is your experience?

Go for the 8 GB model because Studio runs best when it gets at least 2 or more GB of RAM and you want to run some other programs in parallel, such as Office, browsers, etc.

Concerning the SSD, 128 GB might be sufficient for the OS and the programs, but the 256 GB model has the advantage that you can also put some of your work files on the SSD partition and Studio is really much more performant if the files reside on a SSD instead of a magnetic hard disk.
In addition, a 256 GB SSD is faster than a 128 GB SSD.

So, summarizing all of this means you should definitely go for the 8 GB / 256 GB model, it will be worth the additional investment.
