problem when merging content of segment 2

Hi, while trying to upload my reviewed bilingual file, I got above message. What can I do to fix it? (SDL 2015) Thank you.

  • Hi Manuela,

I guess you have looked at segment #2 in the review file and made sure it doesn't have any problems, such as hard breaks inserted into the cell? I'm also assuming you mean the Word bilingual file that you exported for external review and not an sdlxliff file that was reviewed?

The docx import needs to follow certain rules because we insert code into the docx that we use to support bringing the updated file back in. So if you saved the docx in an older version of Word for example then you could break the import. There is an article here that might be useful for you on the things that could go wrong and a few suggested workarounds to correct things.

It's also worth reviewing the comments as there are some clever solutions suggested by others.

    Regards
