Trados does not "see" sdlppx files

Question

Yesterday I was working on a package. I did half, saved and switched off PC. This am pc did a software update and now Trados opens with Installation Wizard and has wiped my project list. I cannot see any sdlppx package files but have no error message, apart from a flashing red exclamation next to the BROWSE button.

This means that your project list (the file "c:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\Studio 2015\Projects\projects.xml") has probably been either wiped or damaged. But this is not a major problem as long as the project folder still exists. 
 
You can open your project using the command "Open project" and navigating to the proper project folder (which you created when you imported the package). In the project folder, open the last file in the list (the one with the file extension .SDLPROJ, it has a filing bin icon). This will recover your project and add it to the list of projects.
