Creating an autosuggest dictionary in Studio 2015 from multiple file-based TMs

Question

Is it possible to create an autosuggest dictionary in Studio 2015 that is compiled from multiple file-based TMs? Or do I need to export the multiple TMs into a new "compilation" TM to do this? I suspect the latter.

What you suspect is unfortunately correct. The utility does not allow to select more than one input file, which means that you need first to merge the TMX files into one temporary TM in order to do this. 
 
Let me however point up that since Studio 2015, the extended AutoSuggest 2.0 function is now able to automatically suggest subsegment matches from the TMs attached to the project. This means that you don't really need any manually generated ASD anymore.
