Trados Studio 15 doesn't add a space between segments in generated target file

I've been having this problem for a while.
In target files generated from Studio projects I create myself, Studio doesn't add a space between segments. In other words, my target file comes out without the obligatory space between sentences. I'm having to manually fix my documents after generating my target files, to insert a space after each period (full stop), colon, semicolon, question mark and exclamation mark.
I don't have this problem with packages I receive from my translation agency client.
I'm assuming one of my settings is not configured right, but I haven't been able to find where that setting is located. Can someone help me with this?
Thank you.

  • Hi Paul,
    Thanks for your reply.
    I have SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR2 - 12.2.5099.5, Freelance version
    and SDL MultiTerm 2015 SR2 - 12.0.1516.0
The source files are MS Word.
I just checked for updates to MultiTerm, and the updater tells me the latest version for SDL MultiTerm 2015 Core is 12.0.1518.0. I'll do that update and see if that makes a difference. Where can I get 12.2.1629.0?
    Regards,
    Irene

Edit: I figured out how to get SR2 from my account on the SDL site [:)] and have upgraded. I tested a small file, and it looks like that may have solved the problem. If not, I'll post again. Thank you!.
