How do I efficiently review a very long segment in Studio?

Dear Studio 2015 experts,

I just had a frustrating experience reviewing a very long segment and had to give up in the middle of it (I got lost, to be exact) and came here for help.

Anyway, this is an xliff file with text extracted from the client website.  It has lots of non-translatable <XXXYYYZZZ> tags in varying lengths, followed by translatable text.  Due to the fact that Chinese translation is usually shorter than the English text, Studio does not align the source text and corresponding target translation well, so I am having a hard time making the source sentence and the matching target translation on the same page in Studio.  I ended up copying the source text to Word and will review the target segment against the six page Word file if there is not a better way.

Do any of you have a better approach than the awkward method I came up with?  Like making <xxxx> tags invisible or something else?

    Hi Chunyi,

    A screenshot would help us understand your situation better, but a few things come to mind:

    1. Have you tried reducing font size so more will fit on the screen? When I need extra screen space I also collapse the left hand panel and unpin the ribbon.

    2. I may be misunderstanding what you're saying, but aren't your source and target segments aligned with one another? Make sure that in the View tab "Auto-scroll Source Document" is enabled. This is the default and it allows the source to always be aligned with the target.

    3. You could also check to make sure that "Center active row" is checked in Options - Editor - Side-by-side Editor.
