SDLPPX from multilingual projects contain all TMs and Termbases, regardless of the given target language

Hello all!

When I create an SDLPPX in a multilingual Studio 2015 project, I want to include the Master TMs and Termbases only for the given target language.
But the SLDPPX always contains all the Master TMs for all target languages of my multilingual project. What can I do to avoid this?

Best,

Andreas

  • Hello Andreas and Walter,
the workaround is still to set the TMs in the language-specific settings - I'm pretty sure this works since Studio 2009 @wblaser.
    You may work like this:
Enter all your TMs in Language Pairs/All languages
and then, go into each Language Pairs/[Source]->[Target] and klick on "use different translation providers for this language pair. The corresponding TMs for the language pairs in the All languages settings will be copied.
This way, only the relevant TMs will be attached in the different packages.

    Regarding TBs
If you have different TBs for each language pairs, you should create each package separately and delete the useless TBs before. From my experience, this is necessary because the term recognition does not work correctly when some TBs do not contain the target language.

    With kind regards
