Whatever I try to do, first I get error message "cannot set the active view to a view that is disabled or not available". Next the ribbon disappears and I get the next error message: "Failed to activate view editor". I cannot even close the window but another Trados window opens without problems. Does anyone know what might be the problem and how to avoid it? And how do I close the window with no drop-down menu nor ribbon? I have installed Studio 2015 version a week ago. Thanks!

But here's the interesting (and annoying) story. I was in the middle of a new translation project, luckily, just starting. Now, I cannot close Studio AND the folder where I created the project disappeared!!!
What could've possibly happened? What I did was to create a second project (the one whose folder vanished) after creating the first one (same client, same translation) and change the language cultures. Everything was going fine, until I decided to close the project to go for a walk... (A few minutes before I was signing off previous projects).
I also applied "Reset Window Layout" (yes, the Home ribbon was empty (!), then the Home ribbon came back but same situation.
Any hints? Thank you.

I'm telling the truth. My folder disappeared from the location where it was created. I know that for a fact because when I created the second (version) of my project all I did was to add a space and a cero to the name of my project folder and I saw it. Then all of what I explained happened and to my surprise I did not find that newly created folder in my hard drive (no even in the Recycle Bin). I'm going to rest this issue and call it simply an anecdote. I give SDL Studio 2017 SR1 the benefit of the doubt.

I'm getting this again! What was I doing? I was working on an "Align Documents" project, then I went to File / Close All. A document was in the editor, which was closed BUT the alignment job was not. Next thing, I get this error while trying to close Studio. In other words, it does not allow me to exit Studio (!)
