Studio 2011 has the capability to import SDLXLIFF (Studio Bilingual files), TTX (TagEditor bilingual files) and ITD (SDLX bilingual files) into a Studio Translation Memory.  But you can't import a Bilingual Doc which is what you are referring to.

However, the workaround is pretty simple.  You can create a Project in Studio and add all or some of your Bilingual Doc files to it.  You then add your Translation Memory (if you didn't already) and use the Project -> Batch Tasks -> Update Main Translation Memories

You can then click Next -> Next and in this window you can set which segments you wish to be added to your Translation Memory:

The default will only add things that have at least a 100% match, but you have the option here to also add fuzzies or no matches if you have a good reason for doing so.  The good thing is that if you have any unfinished Bilingual Doc files then this provides you with the ability to make sure you ony add the things you are happy with... the 100% matches.

So, finally you click on Finish and your TM will be updated with the contents of your files. You can do this for the entire Project in one go, individual files, or specific files that you select using Ctrl+mouseclick.
