Translating File & Folder Names

Question

So I have around 100 folders filled with art assets I need to look at that have Korean names explaining their content. All the terms that make up the names of these files already exist in my Trados termbase. Is there any way to have Trados translate the names of these files en masse, even if it requires a third-party solution? I've tried renaming utilities like Advanced Renamer, but you still have to compose the term replacement rules which is simply too laborious due to the number of terms used.

Hello Benjamin,
We've done something like that with two Excel macros.
1 Macro to write the nameoriginal file names in the Spreadsheet Column A and B.
You'll find some Code here: software-solutions-online.com/.../

You translate column B.

and 1 Macro to rename the files.
something like

i = 2 'line number
While Cells(i, 2) <> ""
filename = Cells(i, 1)
newFileName = Cells(i, 2)
If filename <> newFileName and filename <> "" Then
Name filename As newFileName
End If
i = i + 1
Wend
