Is there a way to save an SDLXLIFF file that was created in Studio 2015 into 2014 version.

I have completed a translation in Studio 2015 but my customer requires his SDLXLIFF files in Studion 2014. Is there a way to save it retroactively in 2014? Also, is there a setting somewhere in Studio where I could request that all XLIFF files be systematically saved in 2014?

The only possible compatibility issues are when you used a file type that your client does not have (e.g. the new file WORD file type "Microsoft Word 2007-2016").

In which case it would make sense for the client to prepare the file as sdlxliff in the first place if this is what they would like back.

Perhaps it's enough to save the target file and then send them the sdlxliff and the target file.  They can at least use the sdlxliff in their version of Studio for updating the TM even if it might not provide a perfect match throughout.

    Regards
