Anything like memoQ's "AutoPick" feature in Studio 2015/2017?

In memoQ, there is a feature called "AutoPick", which calls up a list of potential things you might want to insert into your target text/box (recognised terms, recognised numbers, auto-translatables, non-translatables, email addresses, URLs, etc.) via a shortcut. Basically the same stuff that gets offered to you by the Predictive Typing system. Does Studio have sth like this? I rely on it very heavily in memoQ, and so am looking for something similar.

  • Hi Michael,

I'm not really familiar with MemoQ, but Studio tackles these in a variety of ways:

    - Recognized tokens (numbers, acronyms, etc.) are inserted via QuickPlace (Ctrl+,)
    - Recognized terms can be called up via AutoSuggest by typing the first letter or a list can be displayed with Ctrl+Shift +L
    - For email addresses, URLs, phone numbers, etc. I use the Regex Match AutoSuggest Provider, which you can download from the SDL App Store. Once you've set up your rules, you just type the first letter to see the suggestion come up in the AutoSuggest list.
