Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question, but I think this is possible.  You would use font mapping for this, for example:

In the English (World) target I am looking for source font Aharoni and if I find it I replace it with Hattenschweiler in the target file.

In the Hebrew (Israel) target I replace all fonts I find with Arial.

Is this what you tried?  I just did a few small tests and it seems to work without a problem.

Why not?

Did you right-click in the font mapping pane and pick the new language, then select the language and add the new target font.  This then gives you a window where you can also add a custom font.

Let me know if you still can't do this?

Hi Paul,

I am afraid I need more help...

When I tried to add the new language pair ENG>Traditional Hong Kong, I could not get the pair to be the new language.  It went under one of the existing languages listed (in the screenshot it went under Chinese PRC).  How do I make it to be a new language pair instead of becoming a sublanguage under a language?

Also, can this font mapping be set up for all incoming Eng>Chinese Traditional Hong Kong projects, or do I need to set it up for every project?

Does this work for Trados 2017 as well? I took the same steps but my list of fonts are grayed out and cannot be selected. Thank you in advance for your help!
