Make SDL Widget ignore language variants and search ALL variants?

Is there any way to get the SDL Widget to ignore language variants and just search, e.g., all variants of English or Dutch?

The way to do it is set up the termbase to ignore all language variants in the first place. You'll have to recreate the termbase if you have not done it this way already. In fact most of the time I think it's preferable to work without language variants and just select Dutch as opposed to Dutch(Belgium) for example. You can add variants as a synonym and use a variant attribute instead. Also gives you more options when it comes to verification and using templates if you work this way:
