Hey all, I am using VMWare 8.1 with Windows 7 and SDL Trados Studio 2015. I am having the problem that when I try to import a template it says: Failed to save project data to \\vmware-host\shared folders\documents\studio 2015\projects\projects.xml. Access to the path "Projects" is denied. But I don't understand why it is trying to save stuff to the shared folder when everything related to Trados is in Windows, NOT on the Mac. HELP!

You have most probably set the option in VMWare Fusion to share your desktop between Mac and Fusion, which means that your "Documents" folder does not reside inside your Fusion VM, but on the Mac.
This should however not be a problem because you should have access rights to this folder.
I suggest you check your Fusion settings and adapt them. If you don't want to share the desktop, then change the option. I don't know how it is called in Fusion as I am using Parallels, but I am sure you'll find it (will probably be labelled something like "Share desktop with Mac" or "Isolate VM from Mac").
