One or many TM's and AnyTM

Is it correct that AnyTM in Studio 2015 alloves you to use one TM for all your language pairs - and even in both directions?

And if so is there ever any reason to use more than one TM (given that you are a freelance translator using the TM's only for your own translations)?

And further - is there any reason not to use always and only AnyTM translation memory (given the same circumstances)?

Best regards,

Fridrik Fr.

    Yes

If you don't translate in both directions, don't get multiple source language files to translate, and never handle projects from another Studio user who might have prepared them in a different flavour of your language pairs then no, probably not.

If you intend to share projects with others, and use the Professional version of studio or zip up the project folders and email them, then it could be problematic if the recipient did not have a version of Studio with AnyTM installed.  That's the only usecase I'm aware of where this could be a problem.  But even that is not insurmountable.
