DTP Package target file format

Question

Dears colleagues, 
 Can somebody tell me if the client requires to have the target file in DTP format, how could I do it? Simply converting using the option DTP Legacy in the File Menu? I specify that I don't know yet the source format, I work with Studio 2015.

The option you refer to in the menu is for preparing two specific old filetypes for translation. Using this option allows you to use the old Trados S-Tagger to convert old versions of Framemaker and QuickSilver files to TTX so they can be handled in Studio.
