I've been having a problem aligning multiple files in Studio 2015. I am currently working through the Trados Getting Started part 2 workbook - this issue relates to the instructions given on page 5-17 of that manual and also as provided here: community.sdl.com/.../90
I have followed the instructions to the letter about adding the TM, but as soon as I press next I get the error message 'The output folder is not valid' as per the screenshot attached. I've had the same experience on several different computers. I haven't changed any of the settings but there is no way to get past this stage without unchecking the 'Save alignment results files for later review' box. By unchecking it, I could press next and proceed to the next stage and select folders containing multiple files for alignment. But then when I got further on (page 5-22), it appeared there were no alignment result files, ie no .sdlalign bilingual files had been created, and therefore it wasn't possible to import the alignment results into the TM. I can't remember the exact file extension of the original files - I think it was .rsx - anyway, I only had .rsx files on my computer and no .sdlalign ones.
Does anyone have experience of the same problem? Would be very grateful for your help if so.
