Hello all,

I have one IDML file that I need to be translated into 6 languages. In the file, I have many segments that should NOT be translated, but they need to remain in the file. There isn't a defined 'tag/type' that I can specifically say 'do not translate these segments' in the file type settings, so I must go into each language bilingual file, select all the segments, lock them so they don't get translated (I have been doing copy source to target, mark as translation rejected so it doesn't get added to the TM, then lock them. Although, I'm wondering now if I can just 'lock' them without doing the copy source to target, et al).

Is there a way that I can specify, when converting the files to translatable format, that I can say 'Lock segments #1200 thru #1450' in each bilingual, so I don't have to do it manually for EACH language?

I'm currently using Studio 2014 SP2. I have a feeling this is not possible, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?
