How do I export completed files to their original location?

Question

Hi there, 
 Whenever I export my completed (sdlxliff) files to their original location on my computer, they are not there. The original ST just opens up with no translation. Any advice on this would be much appreciated. I'm just submitting a big project now.

Just closing this off... the problem was more related to knowing how to get the target files out when they are just sdlxliff files. Now sorted.

This is probably because you finalized the project. You shouldn't do this until you have really finished... although I often question whether this is needed at all as you can update your TMs and get your target files without closing the project down. 
 
However, try right-clicking on the files in your files view and select "Revert to sdlxliff". Then you should be able to open the translated file.

Down the left hand side you have several views... Welcome, Projects, Files, Editor and Translation Memories. Double click your Project in the Projects View and this will open the files in that project in the Files View.
