cannot convert bilingual excel file

Hi there,

I have an excel file downloaded from an online tool. It is a game file. I want to use bilingal excel format, because sometimes there are useful descriptions.

The error message I got is "Object reference not to set an instance of an object"

Mostly, I created a new excel file, copy the texts and create using bilingual excel format. It works this way, but kind of tiresome. I guess the problem is about the excel file. Don't know if there is a solution. I attached an example file.

Many thanks.

  • Hello Ivan,

I can't reproduce this problem... Studio opens the file as a bilingual excel with no problems at all. Maybe check the following:

    1. You have configured the Bilingual excel filetype correctly
    2. You are using the Bilingual Excel filetype and not something else
    3. Try a repair on Studio maybe?

Might also be useful if you can copy the error stack or better still attach the error stack to this thread. Then we might be able to learn something more from the message as this is a very generic message.

    Regards
