Disappearing attributes in Trados 2015

(If this is not in the right place, please let me know where it should be; my first time posting)

We have recently started updating from Trados 2014 to Trados 2015, and have found a significant problem: a TM containing various attributes loses them, or many of them, when opened in 2015. The same TM opened in Trados 2015 shows no attributes for most of its segments (none of the picklist boxes checked), but when opened in Trados 2014 has the correct attributes for each segment as it should.

It seems to be possible to work around this by exporting the 2014 TM as tmx and recreating the TM in 2015 thereby, but we would really rather not go through this process for all the TMs we handle; this may also lead to further complications, since most of the translators working with us still use 2014 or 2011.

I would like to know

a) if there is a simple way of avoiding this problem in Trados 2015 (if we have failed to do something obvious with settings, etc etc)

b) if not, whether this is a recognized bug/error and is being handled, and if so what the outlook is

c) anything else useful

While it's nice to have various new options available in 2015, if it is going to lead to further unheralded complications, we would have been happier to wait on updates for a few more years...

Thank you very much,
Nadya
