Failed to display report

Hi,

Since updating Studio 2015, I'm unable to view analyze/pre-translate reports. The batch task runs as normal, but when I click the report tab, I see the following error message:

Failed to display report: Error saving compiled state: the specified image file did not contain a resource section.

Has anyone else encountered this? Or does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Carol

  • Hi Carol,

I think the first sensible thing would be to try a reset as this often fixes anything that might be linked to temporary data or user settings. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\12.0.0.0

If that doesn't help you could try renaming your projects.xml here:

    c:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Studio 2015\Projects\projects.xml

You will have to add your projects back in one at a time after doing this one but it might resolve the problem. You can add them in by using "Open Project" and then select the *.sdlproj file for each project.

    Regards
