Not all TU from TMX are imported in SDL Trados

Question

I have (finally) been able to convert my Transit XV translation memory into Transit NXT and then created a TMX file for import in Trados. Unfortunately, not even half of the TMX file is imported into a Trados TM. There are no errors. It just says for example: read 15000 TU, Imported 6000 TU. Can anyone explain why the other translation units are not being imported and how I can solve this problem?

It's most likely not errors, but rather just content that Studio does not need. Some tools will store numbers, dates and other recognisable placeables into the TM... Studio only needs one of them. Some tools will store duplicates... Studio will remove true duplicates. There are probably other things too, but these two are often the culprit for most "missing", or rather unnecessary TUs.
