Cannot revert translation back to Word

 Hi,

I'm having serious problems as I have done a 70% of a very long translation and now cannot save it back to the original file format (Word).

I've tried several suggestions found in various forums and none is working. I'm almost desperate... 

I've tried opening again a new file for translation, adding it a copy of the original file and trying to pre-translate it with the full project memory created ad hoc and it doesn't populate, so even this doesn't work.

I have to finish the whole job in a few days and in this way this is impossible...

Can you please help?

  • If you open the original file for translation and immediately then - without even having translated the first segment - try to save the target, does it work? If so, your translation at some point is making the problem. But in this case I suppose you will get the same result. So then please open the file in Word and save with a new name, then try again. If that will not help, check if you can process same file as DOC.
    In any case some more info about your Studio would help.
