It is my first time to post a message here.
I hope someone who is familiar with SDL Trados Studio 2015 (Freelance) could help reply to my question.
In fact, I would like to align two documents (source and target) in order to creat a translation memory.
When importing both documents, the aligment association do not well asociate two sides.
This is why I have to modify it segment by segment. When it has 500 segments, that's a big waste of time.
This is why, I am looking for another solution to make this go more quickly with an automatique match more efficient.
I have noticed that one segment in the source text will automatically match two segments in the target document.
And normally if there is a space in the same ligne of the text, SDL wil consider it as a segment.
This is why for normally one segment can be divided into 5 or more segment when using alignment function.
As the consequence, I need to copy and paste these text to make maximum 3 segments, then match them by hand because it is not possible to match one segment (source) with more than 3 segments (target).
I have a lot of documents to aligne to create a TM. And I think that if have another method to do so, it will save me from spending weeks to do it.
I wonder someone could help me resolve this problem?
I have already talked with you SDL support staff by online chat, but he has no solution.
