Settings for php files

Hello,

although I have already read through all the discussions regarding php files here, I'm still not sure how to work with php-files like for instance this simple one:

<?php

return array(
'time_progress' => 'Time progress',
'show_correct' => 'Show correct solution',
'minutes_short' => 'min',
);

?>

When importing to Trados there's NO text presented. Or with another more complex file, everything is presented, the whole text together with the =>

What do I miss here? Any settings that I have to adjust beforehand?

Thanks for any help!

Regards

Doro

  • Hello Paul
    I'm facing problems with php file. I've used your video to create a new file definition in Trados. It worked perfectly with one "test file" my client sent to me. Now that I have received the whole folder to translate (containing html files AND php files), I can't reproduce this successful method ! Nothing appear to translate in the file...

    In fact, I can see that Trados recognize the php file as an html file. Impossible to change this...

    Another problem is that I have a lot of php files to translate and all have different "settings" from what I can see.

    How can I do ?

    Thanks for your help !
