Is seems as if the Trados packages are getting bigger every week. We sometimes have packages of over 30 MB, but the TM is empty and if we count the amount of MBs from the imported files, we only get to 8 MB. Is there a setting available to keep the packages as small as possible?

Hi Denise,
I'm not sure how they increase every week unless the files you put in them are getting bigger! However, you could try playing with the sdlxliff embedded files settings and this might help:
This will prevent the source file from being embedded into the sdlxliff and it could potentially reduce the package size. Buut no guarantees... you need to play with it a little.
Have you also tried unzipping your packages to see what's in there? Where is the increased size coming from?
