Handling embedded Excel content in Microsoft Word files

Hi, 
 We're after some assistance from anyone who has to handle translation of Microsoft Word documents containing Excel charts or tables. We are working on a new feature for the Word filetype that can extract the embedded files for translation and allow you to work on them without having to extract the Excel files and handle them separately. 
 All the help you can provide here would be much appreciated as there are apparently various ways these files can be embedded, so the more real life examples we can get the better. If you don't want to share the examples in the community then please email pfilkin@sdl.com

Hi Paul,

I have some experience with embedded Excel charts and tables, however it has been quite some time. I do, however, have a lot more recent experience with another type of embedded content in Word files, equations. This is something that I have wanted to see support for in Studio for quite some time. Often times Life Sciences clients will send files containing equations with content requiring translation, however Studio does not parse these so the content has to be manually extracted. Has there been discussion about adding support for equations?
