Dear all,
I have installed Trados Studio 2017 and noticed that the automated Concordance search if the TM lookup returns no results does not work (this option is activated in the Options panel under Editor > Concordance Search Window).
Are there any particular settings in 2017? Or is this problem connected with Fragment Matching or Match Repair?

Dear Paul,
what is disturbing is, that when I switch from one segment to another, the upper section shows the Fragment Matches window, even though there is not match, whereas it would be more useful to have the Concordance window showing up, as Automated Concordance search is activated. In fact, if I click on the Concordance window, I see that the automated search has been performed, but I must access the Concordance window manually, as the first thing showing is the Fragment Matches window. Please see attached screenshots.

Finally I found the ideal window layout which allows me to work even on the small 11" screen of my MacBook Air:
(side bar and ribbon collapsed, Fragment Match Window between Translation Results and MultiTerm Window)

Could you please explain how did you embed the Concordance window into the pane? I can either make it float or dock it in its original place, but I can't make it appear docked one next to the other as shown on your screenshot. Thanks

in order to arrange panes one beside the other, you'll have to detach them from the others, as they are all grouped together.
To do so, click on the tab of the pane you want to move, and keeping it clicked move the mouse a little bit until you'll see 4 arrows appearing. If you drag the pane on the right arrow, the pane will be arrange to the right of the other panes. If you don't get it right the first time, remember you can always use Reset Window Layout and try again.
Remember also that if you click on the title bar instead of the tab, you'll move all panes together, and not the single one you want to moe.
