I am using Studio 2015 SP 2. For a while now, when I work on longer projects, the dependency files disappear and now I also get "unknown error when reading plug-in definition file". How can I prevent that the temp files get deleted? It seriously interferes with the functionality of Studio. BTW the problem consistently occurs with I use Word files.

In my experience, this could happen if you use system cleaning programs such as CCleaner or similar, before the project has finished and Studio is not actually running, thereby locking the files in the temp folder. Such programs will delete them, when they are not in use.
