Creating a sdlxliff file just like bilingual excel file with a bilingual word file??

Question

Is there a to create a project with a two columned (source and target) word file like the image below: 
 
 and directly opening it as a sdlxliff file just like bilingual excel file with some special settings or options ?

I think you can either copy the table into Excel and use the Bilingual Excel filter, or use a tab delimited format. No way to handle a word file like this directly. 
 
Although if you are determined you could copy it into Excel, convert the excel to a TMX with the Glossary Converter and then upgrade the TMX to create your Studio Translation memory. Then copy the source column into the target column of your word file so you have two columns with the source. Then hide the real source column by using hidden text in Word. Now open the Word file and pretranslate it from your TM. Every change you make to the target will appear in the correct column of the word file when you save your target file.
